The time machine (part I)

...with the mint&chocolate ice cream!

I'm sure that everybody have those kind of things that take them back to magical places...
To a first hug... to the mother voice... to the father smile...to a sister happiness!
There is always things that take us back in time, and make us believe that exist for real, 
a time machine in life that can make us travel in time.
This recipe is one of my best time machines... 
it opens my memory door so fast and takes me flying to childhood... 
to a big smile... to a bright and endless summer day...

Fall asleep in the sand...

and waking up in a forest!

Fall asleap under a tree...

and waking up with a soft voice!

  A receita  

Ingredientes para o gelado

400 ml de natas
3 colheres de açúcar
1/2 copo de leite
folhas de hortelã
100 g de chocolate >70% cacau

Preparação:

1. Levar a ferver o leite com as folhas de hortelã
2. Bater as natas com o açúcar
3. Juntar o leite já arrefecido (retirar as folhas)
4. Máquina de gelados (ou 1 hora no congelador)
5. Espalhar o gelado num recipiente e adicionar o chocolate derretido em banho maria, envolvendo com um garfo

Ingredientes para os cones de bolacha

3 colheres de manteiga
3 colheres de açúcar
4 colheres de farinha
3 colheres de leite

Preparação:

1. Juntar todos os ingredientes e mexer bem
2. Reservar 30 mn no frigorifico
3. Numa frigideira untada com azeite deitar uma colher de sopa do preparado e espalhar bem 
4. Deixar cozinhar 1 mn de cada lado, ou até ganhar uma cor dourada
5. Envolver cuidadosamente  num cone (que pode ser feito com uma folha de cartão/cartolina)

So this one is for all those long days that never seem to end,
and that we really wish that could last forever...
For those summer days full of sun, blue sky and sand  between
our fingers... Those days full of good conversations and the best
soundtracks... Those days that end with a big smile a stomach full of sugar
and a heart full of love!

 Summer = long days = big dreams

Summer  = peachy days = long weekends

summer = ♥

Between doughnut...

Do you know what is between spring and fall... summer?
And do you know where is summer? Because I haven't really seen it this year... I'm not sure if it is comming to Lisbon!
I gess that maybe some crazy doughnut have eaten it :)!!

That time when dreams are bright and you can control them with soft cotton candy strings?...
So this one is for all those moments that just stay in between dreams...

Just close your eyes...

That time between the waiting, and getting there?... 
This next group of recipes is all about those things in between... 
Sometimes it is not just a beginning or just an end...
Sometimes it is really nice to take your time and enjoy what is in the middle of the moments...

So enjoy this "In between" set of recipes!

With the taste of coffee in my head..

the taste of tea in my mouth...

and the taste of happiness in my heart!!!

sometimes the world is so small... and  we are not that different!

others the cultural wall is so big that no rope is big enough to climb those mountains...

but in the end of the day... we drink a coffee, we give each other a smile... 

we let the bike go in the wind... and in the end, all is alright...
here... or in the other side of the world! 

because when we put ourselves in the world,
